Coastal Stunner

(Before and After)

When the owner of a Woodinville book publishing company moved across the Puget Sound to Kingston, their collection of quilting, crocheting, and knitting gear made the trek with them.  They landed on a cliff overlooking Appletree Cove and the Kingston ferry dock.

The house, however, was an awkward collection of additions to an original 1928 cabin.  The entire middle structure was demolished and rebuilt to house a grand entry and kitchen on the main floor and a master suite above.  This new structure became the anchor to tie the existing side structures into a cohesive whole.

Rounding off the renovation, the exterior hardscape was extended to better suit the home. This was topped with an infinity edge swimming pool with uninterrupted sightlines, becoming just another part of the house with some of the most beautiful views imaginable.
