Magnolia Add-up

(Before and After)

What started out as an uninspired post-war house became a significant structure with nods to the craftsman aesthetic, providing the owner with more ways to experience their surroundings’ natural beauty.

A second story addition was built up which gave the home a new master suite and bathroom, plus a home office to minimize time wasted in the infamous Seattle rush hour. Additionally, this new floor included a private deck to enjoy views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

Another of the owners’ priorities was to update the front hardscape and entryway. The original front was easy-to-miss and didn’t contribute to the rest of the house. EGA transformed it into the clear face of the home, so the whole upgrade was rounded off with a welcoming facade that completed the renewal.
