When a home is a century old, its history is integral.

Such was the case for this Queen Anne traditional. The owners needed more space but didn’t want to sacrifice the original home’s classic personality. The solution was an expanded second story that houses a new master suite, two bedrooms, and a shared bathroom while staying in tune with the traditional neighborhood.

Not only did the new addition provide more space without conceding the home’s classic charm, but the cherry on top was beautiful views of Lake Union and the mountains from the Juliet balcony.
